Republic of Congo : Call for Expression of Interest to strengthen environmental governance
9 October 2020: Pursuant to CAFI Board Decision EB.2020.15, the CAFI Secretariat is launching a call for expressions of interest to select one or more implementing agency(ies) for the program on strengthening environmental governance to preserve forests through projects in the agriculture, forestry, mining, hydrocarbon and infrastructure sectors.
This call complements the first call launched on 31 January 2020, addressing specifically Axis 5 of the Programmatic Framework for the Republic of Congo.
The bidders – or bidding consortia – should be, in accordance with the CAFI legal framework:
- Agencies of the United Nations System ;
- The World Bank;
- International Cooperation Organizations, namely KFW, DFID, Enabel, AFD, GIZ, USAID, JICA, SNV;
- Other organizations, such as international non-governmental organizations, or research institutions.
