En effet, entre 2016 et 2021, pr\u00e8s de 12 000 plaintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 la destruction de cultures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9es, et entre 2020 et 2021, 18 des 27 attaques d\u2019animaux sauvages \u00e9taient dues \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9phants, causant 8 d\u00e9c\u00e8s et plusieurs blessures graves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"640\" data-end=\"762\">En r\u00e9ponse, le Gabon affine ses politiques afin qu\u2019elles profitent \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 l\u2019environnement et aux communaut\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1188\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u00c0 la suite d\u2019un appel urgent lanc\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre 2024 par le Premier ministre gabonais \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 internationale pour soutenir les efforts de r\u00e9duction des conflits entre humains et \u00e9l\u00e9phants, le projet <strong data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1034\">\u00ab Coexistence pacifique entre les humains et les \u00e9l\u00e9phants \u00bb<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9.
